CASD (Checklist for Autism Spectrum Disorder)

The CASD is a tool used for screening or diagnosing children with autism from 1 to 16 years of age. It consists of 30 symptoms that are scored either as absent or present. As a screening tool, the CASD can be independently completed by parents and teachers/child care providers in 10 minutes. For diagnostic purposes, administration and scoring can be done in approximately 15 minutes. The CASD aligns with the diagnostic criteria of the DSM-5.  (Requires special credentials to access - Level 3.)
