Are you ready to begin the year by introducing the alphabet to your young learners? Did you know that the order of letter introductions matters? There’s a sequence for that. (or in this case several sequences to choose from in fact) This set of kits is organized by the Flyleaf scope and sequence. Other examples are also included in the kit for reference. Whichever sequence you choose should match the decodable or controlled texts that students use to practice decoding and reading.
Kit contains onset letter tubs that contain objects beginning with each sound and capital and lower-case letters for each. Foundational skills in word recognition focus on phonemic awareness and phonics.
This kit focused on the onset phonemes: q, j, b, short e, short u, y.
