The Augmentative and Alternative Communication Profile (AACP) is a tool that measures subjective, functional skills for developing communicative proficiency when using AAC along with re-evaluating strengths and challenges and monitoring progress. The Profile is divided into four Areas of Learning: Operational Area of Learning, Linguistic Area of Learning, Social Area of Learning, and Strategic Area of Learning. Can be used with individuals ranging in ages of 2-0 through adult. Best used under the guidance of a speech and language pathologist, the AAC Profile is intended to be used by a multidisciplinary team which may consist of an OT, IS, general educator, psychologist, assistive technology specialist, family member, etc. Administration time ranges from 60-90 minutes.  (Requires special credentials to access - Level 3.)
