The MegaBee is a simple-to-use assisted writing tablet to aid frequent communication with people who use eye gaze for communication. The tablet allows a partner to record the individual’s letter choices by pressing keys associated with their eye movement and blink selections. The selected letters or phrases are then displayed on its screen. MegaBee is fully portable and does not require connection to a computer for its basic operation. It does, however, have Bluetooth wireless communication ability that would allow the user’s selections to be displayed on a larger screen for access by several people or to allow the user to input text into a personal computer.
