The SLDT-E:NU is an assessment tool that assesses social language development in children ages 6 years 0 months to 11 years 11 months. The test is made up of four subtests: Making inferences, interpersonal negotiation, multiple interpretations, and supporting peers. The primary purpose of the assessment is to identify children who are struggling with social communication. The SLDT-E:NU was designed especially for children with social language deficits, such as autism spectrum disorder or intellectual disability. Administration time is approximately 45 minutes.
