The Braille Edge 40 is a braille display with notetaker capabilities. A user can create and save notes, or read books and documents with the notepad. The Braille Edge 40 includes a built-in calculator, stopwatch, and countdown timer, as well as a scheduler for important dates and an alarm clock for upcoming appointments. The device contains 2 four-way navigation keys and 8 function keys, 40 braille display cells, Perkins-style keyboard, and an average battery life of 20 hours. The Braille Edge 40 works with JAWS, Window-Eyes, SuperNova, System Access, NVDA, VoiceOver for Mac and iOS, BrailleBack for Android, Mobile Speak, and TALKS. Uses SDHC cards with up to 32GB.
