The SRS-2 identifies the presence and severity of social impairment within the autism spectrum and differentiates it from other disorders. The SRS-2 offers four forms, each with 65 items, and each for a specific age group: school-age (4-18 years), preschool (2.5-4.5 years), adult (19 years and up), adult self-report. Teachers, parents and others rate symptoms that they observe over time in the home, school, and elsewhere. A total score reflecting severity of social deficits is obtained as well as five treatment subscales including social awareness, social cognition, social communication, social motivation and restricted interests and repetitive behavior. (Requires special credentials to access - Level 3.)
