This kit includes 2 different direct selection communication devices. The Cardinal and the Blue Bird are both direct select communication devices originally made by Saltillo Corporation. The Cardinal can be configured to have up to 8 locations, up to 3 levels and 8 minutes of total recording time. The Blue Bird offers 10 overlays with 24 locations and up to 6 hours of recording time. Messages are digitally recorded on both devices. The Cardinal and Blue Bird communication devices have been discontinued, but this kit still offers the features of direct selection and digitized speech.
