The Assistive Technology Planner is a reference guide for IEP team members as they consider, plan for, and implement AT as part of a student's IEP. It is organized as follows: User's Guide - This guide contains general information about using the planning kit. Assistive Technology implementation plan - After it is determined that a student needs AT, IEP team members are encouraged to use the NATRI form to guide implementation planning. Sections contained in the form correspond to information found in the planners. Planners - IEP team members have roles and responsibilities that help to ensure AT success. Each version of the planner - teacher, administrator, and family - presents information helpful for understanding AT, considering AT in the IEP , getting ready for AT, and implementing AT.
